Welcome to IPMS Houston, the multi-subject modeling club of Houston. If you are either a master modeler or a beginner we are here to support you.

All subjects are welcome and supported.

IPMS Houston is affiliated with IPM/USA.

However, you do not have to be a member of IPM/USA to join.

News

The next meeting is at 7:00 PM February 10, 2025, at the Tracy Gee Community Center in Houston, Texas. This meeting will cover club business, the next club group build, show’n tell, and the drawing. There may be a judging workshop during this meeting, details will follow.

ModelMania 2025 was held on Saturday May 3, 2025, at the Stafford Centre. The show was a great success. We returned with the “open system” judging and with what we learned from last year’s show, had even better results. The results for ModelMania 2025 are posted on the ModelMania page of this website. Next year’s show will again be at the Stafford Centre, our long-time home for the show, on May 2, 2026. The theme will be “TEXAS!”. Subjects related to Texas, i.e. made in Texas, from Texas, or served in Texas. The model has to be simply related to the Lone Star State.

ModelMania 2024 was held Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Stafford Centre in Stafford, Texas! More information about the show is posted on the ModelMania page on this website. This was our first year to utilize the “open system” of judging, using points to award gold, silver or bronze awards rather that first, second or third.

ModelMania 2023 was held May 6th, 2023, at the Stafford Centre. The show was a great success! We had 113 entrants with 633 models entered. The results are available on the ModelMania page via a link to the document.
