Welcome to IPMS Houston, the multi-subject modeling club of Houston. If you are either a master modeler or a beginner we are here to support you.

All subjects are welcome and supported.

IPMS Houston is affiliated with IPM/USA.

However, you do not have to be a member of IPM/USA to join.

News

The next meeting is April 8, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Tracy Gee Community Center in Houston, Texas. This meeting will be the quarterly contest, early registration for ModelMania, club business, and drawing. The contest will provide attendees the opportunity to have their models reviewed and the opportunity to practice judging ahead of ModelMania. Awards will be granted based on the open system of judging. There are no fees to participate in the contest.

ModelMania 2025 will be held on Saturday May 3, 2025, again at the Stafford Centre. The show will open at 9:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM. The theme of the show is “007-License to Build” and will comprise any subject from the James Bond movie franchise. The movie in which the subject appeared will need to be provided.

ModelMania 2024 was held Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Stafford Centre in Stafford, Texas! More information about the show will be posted on the ModelMania page on this website as we gather the data. Please give us a few days to review and compile the standings. Many thanks to all who attended and especially to those who participated and assisted with the show. ModelMania 2025 is planned for May 3, 2025.

ModelMania 2023 was held May 6th, 2023, at the Stafford Centre. The show was a great success! We had 113 entrants with 633 models entered. The results are available on the ModelMania page via a link to the document.
