Vendor Information

Vendor Tables

  • 96 tables are available for rent at Modelmania.
  • The cost for an 8′ x 28″ table is $40 each. 
  • To reserve a table(s), fill out the online Vendor Reservation Form, click here to access the form.
  • If you reserve six tables or more, you may get one additional table free.  If reserving ten tables or more, you may get two additional tables free.
  • When reserving tables, please provide us with the number of tables you need, whether an electrical hook-up is needed, and a current telephone number.
  • Payment may be made by cash, check or money order payable to IPMS-Houston.
  • Please submit payment to the Vendor Coordinator prior to the show date.
  • “No show” vendors who do not contact the Vendor Coordinator 48 hours prior to the show will be billed for the tables they have reserved.  Each year, we usually have a number of vendors who cancel out at the last minute, tables can usually be resold the day of the event if we know a person is not coming.  We trust you understand our policy.

Electrical Outlets and WiFi Access

  • Electrical outlets are available but are very limited.
  • If you should need an electrical outlet, please contact the Vendor Coordinator, so you may be placed near an outlet.
  • You will need to bring an extension cord (minimum 20′ heavy duty cord).  Cords must be secured to the floor using only gaffer tape. Any damages to the carpet will be the responsibility of the Vendor.
  • WiFi hook ups are available at $30.00 per connection, paid in advance.
  • Please note: Our contract with the Stafford Convention Centre, allows the Centre to charge $40 per table for electrical hook-ups and $30 per WiFi connection. However, these have not been enforced in the past.  If you require an outlet and/or WiFi connection, please bring an additional $40 and $30, respectively, for these fees in case the event the Centre’s Coordinator insists that these fees be paid during set-up.
  • Please note table skirts and extension cords are not provided.

Venue

  • All vendors must use the loading dock to unload and load.
  • The Stafford Centre loading dock doors (on the south side of the building) open at 6:30 a.m. on the morning of the show.
  • Volunteers will be available to help you unload (only). 
  • A limited number of carts to move your items to your table(s) will be available, so if you have a dolly, please bring it.
  • After unloading, vendors will need to move their vehicles to the front parking lot of the Stafford Centre.
